Delete your account from inside the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately. DoneLine is published by WUA Studio.

• Open DoneLine on iOS or Android, or the web app at app.doneline.app.
• Go to Settings.
• Scroll to the Account section.
• Tap "Delete account".
• Confirm in the dialog. Your account and data are deleted right away.

Deletion cannot be undone. If you want to keep a copy of your work, export it first from Settings, Import and Export.

If you can no longer open the app

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything below is removed from our servers as part of the deletion:

• Your sign-in identity, including your email address.
• Your profile: display name and avatar image.
• All of your content: tasks, sub-tasks, projects, sections, tags, comments, due dates, reminders and recurrence rules.
• Sync records: device registrations, change history and deletion bookkeeping.
• Weekly reports generated from your activity.
• AI usage counters.
• Subscription records we hold for entitlement checks.

What is retained, and for how long

• Local copies on your own devices. DoneLine is local-first, so a copy lives on each device you used. It is removed when you delete the app or clear its storage.
• Encrypted server backups. Deleted data may persist in rolling backups for up to 30 days, after which the backups are overwritten.
• Operational logs. These contain request metadata and never contain your task content. They are discarded within 30 days.
• Purchase records held by Apple or Google. These are controlled by the store, not by us, and follow the store’s own retention policy.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so removing your DoneLine account does not stop the billing. Cancel the subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play account settings before or after deleting the account.
